Great road trip by the sounds and looks of it!
Am always amazed by how a lot of you guys are able to find these places to explore.
Hope to explore more of these places when the time is right!

Great report, thanks for sharing. Now I'll have to get out my map and look up some of those places for my upcoming trip...............

Great write-up, as others have said. I've been close to many of the places you described, so I was especially glad to see the pics and write-up of the Fish Springs area. I've been both gem hunting and fossil hunting in the same general area.

The next time you pass through Delta, UT, there's a great, sobering, museum there dedicated to the Topaz Mountain internment camp.

Herb,

We planned on going to the museum, but you know, COVID.

Tanks for the interesting report. Can you be more specific about when (early spring, late, etc.)? Also, what kind of daytime and nighttime temps did you encounter?

Our trip was in early May. Day time temp was in the 70’s and nights in the 40’s. It was real pleasant in the evenings, until the sun went behind the hills.
