Again a great update. The pic "Sun setting in the ocean" is fantastic - I could have stayed in that spot for a week, each day waiting for that scene to repeat - very inspiring.

Impressive pictures as always.

So when you come across people and they see the rig, what's their reactions?

Rob, people traveling in Iceland are mostly Europeans who are not as spontaneous as Aamericans. Thus, I've seen a lot of suprised faces and wide open eyes but only a few came to ask about the van...

The ones who aren't so timid what do they say?

Usually not. They even ask for the brand as there is no more sign of it on VivaLaVida. And most of them look impressed and envious. :-)

Very nice! My desire to visit Iceland came about from watching a tour video by the Icelandic band Sigur Ros (most would think a strange band but I like them). They did a tour around the island playing very small shows in remote locations. The scenery shown in the tour video was amazing and your photos prove that it wasn't studio trickery making everything look nice. A beautiful place for sure.

Skip around here and check out the landscape scenery. With the sound off unless you are into Icelandic alternative music!

I'm intrigued by the diverse landscapes you've uncovered throughout your trip.
Have you also been able to spend some time with the natives in the different areas? like being invited in for a cocktail just because your interesting? If I lived in some of those tiny towns, I would welcome any "visitor" and would eagerly try engage them just to quench my curiosity.
