Beautiful shots! They keep getting better and better. And I keep getting more and more jealous of your trip!

There's blue sky's in Iceland?! Spent a week there a year ago and never saw blue sky.
Hope you got a chance to take a dip in a thermal pool and try the local fermented shark!

Big fan of your van Pschitt. I have a E-Series with a Fiberine Hightop. Tried to use 1der's z brackets but that does not seem to work.

Is your awning mounted directly to the fiberglass top? If so, do you mind sharing how you have done it?

Thanks!

Hi hyperdrive,

Thanks for the compliment!

Yes, VivaLaVida's awning is mounted directly to the top. I used 3 L shape Fiama brackets that are bolt through the top. The awning is placed above and bolted from below with special bolts, the head of which fits into a rail integrated into the awning. The only point to take car of is the alignment in height and length of the brackets. As my top is curved in its length, I had to shim the front and rear brackets. Easy to install and reliable so long.

Hope it helps.

Your're welcome.

Don't forget to put enough silicone behind the supports to properly seal the installation.
