We could also look at Salmon La Sac out by Cle Elum. It isn't too far for the Seattle based people and also allows some FS roads and camping for both remote and campground types.

Drive 90 over the Pass to the Roslyn exit. Take 903 and Salmon La Sac Road up past Roslyn, Ronald and Lake Cle Elum/Reservoir Cle Elum and you're there.

My assumption is that once school lets out in mid June it will get crowded but then mid-week should be ok.

That said, I am open for most places including a lunch at the XXX in Issaquah.

Pete, I'd suggest you pick a place and date and see how many people
can make it. The good news is since you started the thread, you can pick a place you like...

Anybody else think a Sunday afternoon meeting would be good? I'd prefer daylight hours so we have more time to look over all the vans. (And I work Saturdays...)

XXX Root Beer in Issaquah works (most anytime) for us. Just drove by there twice on Saturday with the van when I was out looking for tires.

A Sunday afternoon at XXX Root Beer in Issaquah sounds just my speed. How about this Sunday (Jun 1), or Jun 29, or July 27?

I am available June 1 and June 29. I am booked (gonna be in the van on the road) July 27. I think a meet and greet at XXX Root Beer sounds great. Might be easier to get people together for an afternoon than it would be for a weekend trip. We could plan that later though, as it sound fun too.

I can't do it on the 1st. We have to attend the school play, a 2+ hour production of Beauty and the Beast... with pre-schoolers and kindergarteners. I'm sure I'll be obligated to an ice cream run afterwards. If everyone else can make it the 1st then go for it. I'll swing by if I can.

The weekend of July 18-20 is probably taken at this point as well. Otherwise I'm open.

I figure the meet and greet is, obviously, the more important part. Assuming, though, it works out I'm planning on making a day of it. Maybe take the mountain route to Cle Elum and/or go do some camping. Anyone else who's interested are, of course, welcome.

Twolost, I haven't actually been in the XXX in about 5 years. I know they've made some changes. Do they still have the parking to accommodate us? I know that's your neck of the woods.

Parking would ordinarily not be an issue. However, I just checked the XXX Root Beer web site and there is an "All Mopar Spring Round-up" on June, 1. Good news if you have a Dodge based Sportsmobile...

Maybe someplace else in that area? Lake Sammamish State park? Other city/county/state parks around there with a nice picnic area? We could BBQ our own burgers and bring our own root beer...
