Re: Weekend In the Tetons
Mike and Kris,
Great pics and outing.
Are those Necky Kayaks on top of the SMB?
If so, do you have an electric Penthouse or manual?
If manual, anything special you did so you can raise top with kayaks still on ?
thanks

Me too . . . so I am. I just got back last night from Evanston, Wyoming, where my wife and I were investigating a business we are thinking about buying. We have accepted an offer on our home in Las Vegas and are ready to transition to this new phase in our life back in my home town. It's been forty years since I have been to the Tetons and Yellowstone. Believe me, this will be one of the first places we visit in our SMB.

Re: Weekend In the Tetons
Copescobra...the kayaks are the 14' Carolina model made by Perception. We have an electric lift on the penthouse which has no problem raising the weight. The kayaks are 53 lbs each, plus gear and racks for a total of less than 150 lbs I figure. We have homemade dowels in each corner to help support the penthouse just in case.
Macmcintire...hope the move and business work out. Sounds exciting. Maybe we'll run into each other in the Tetons one day. We make it to the Park about 6 or 7 times each year.
Mike and Kris

Living here is amazing!! However it's not for everyone and thank god or whoever for that!!
There are so many great places to just stop at sometimes it's confusing and I forget where Im going.
I will admit winters are long but it to can be amazing.
We should really do a SMB "MEET AND GREET" here this summer there are many place's to boondock with ample room.
Ok im going to start a thread setting up the meet and greet!!

Re: Weekend In the Tetons
I'd like to go if I don't have to cross a million degree desert. Friggin engine runs hot enough. Pick a date and we'll see. I love the Teton's.

Ron, keep us posted on this! I don't know the dates yet but we will probably be going through the Tetons this summer and we always spend a night or two in Jackson. It just wouldn't be a summer trip for us without stopping there.
Thx!

Great pics, great place! We were there 2 years ago, can't wait to go back.
Reports like this are my inspiration!
