2006 E250 dash picture needed

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone have a picture of the dash removed? I need to see what is behind is so I can see places where I would like some things mounted. I remember someone doing a project where they had all the covers off. I had it bookmarked on the old site but that's gone now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Darryl

I don't have any with the whole dash off but I did a write up many years ago when I installed an additional 12V outlet. Maybe one of these pictures will get you the info you need?

What are you installing?

That's Awesome, you Rock! That's exactly where I wanted to see. I am installing a dual USB panel there for my Kenwood DNX692. Along with that I am installing the optional KCA-WL100 Wireless display adapter. That will help clean up my dash.

Here is the USB panel: https://www.ocp.com/product/62-00202-01-2/

Should work pretty slick. Thanks for the link.
Cheers
Darryl

You're welcome!

The USB port looks pretty cool. Any idea what the current draw is when not in use?

Do you have any pictures of your completed install?

Here's where I put mine, but if I did it again I would skip one lighter plug since I never use them

Here is the install finished. The 2 USB ports are on the right close to the passenger seat. It is nice to get rid of some loose wires on the dash. As you see I have enough stuff already. As for the USB's current draw, they are connected to the 2 USB ports on my DNX692. One provides 0.5 amps and the other 1.0 amps. I don't believe that there is any draw when the deck is off.

The wireless dongle works great. No need to connect a wire to the phone to display it on the deck screen anymore. The only bad thing was I had to order it from the UK. That made it a little more pricey but that's ok. The dongle is to the left of the console just behind my commercial radio. I had to leave it accessible because there is a reset button on it and it's not like I can hop out of my wheelchair to get under the dash to push it if need be.

Anyway I hope this helps.
Cheers
Darryl
