Between what you've showcased here & what Ref documented in his conversion, I find myself now seriously considering the same - Only I dont have the skills you guys posses, I'd have to farm out the project.

It is looking great!
But TwoX please don't doubt yourself if you're thinking of a DIY interior build out. Almost all of us here had or have little to no experience when we did our first build outs. Before discovering this site I'd done a few build outs of various designs beginning with a 1969 Chevrolet van way back in the middle 70's. I was so basic and built from lumber yard materials without any real attention to "beauty"---just a simple insulated tool box on wheels.
When I bought another van ('88 E-150) I did a similar build out--insulated tool box on wheels---but did have to ramp up acquiring or adding to tools I already had for additions I created. Over the next 4 vans I've been "forced" to learn new skills and techniques, some of those coming directly from here or otherwise inspired by something seen.
Mind you nice appearance isn't my goal, still driving the tool box on wheels but with a ton more improvements that are very much to my liking and add so much to the utility of the current van.
And as you'll come to discover we're never really finished with these DIY build outs---I'm sure that's part of the fun.
