Diameter of the upper pipe is 110 mm. The equivalent surface is larger than the original opening in the airbox. Of course, this upper pipe has a smaller section than intermediate fender part and airbox's new flange which are much larger. Actually, the smallest section is the cyclonic filter itself but according to the manufacturer Donaldson, its 100 mm diameter is definitely enough for à 6 liter turbodiesel engine.

Well, here in Switzerland, i got the pipes from building suppliers (those are used for drainage and flowing) and flats from a plastic company. To weld it, you need a hot air welding gun with PE welding rods. You can find it online (amazon or other supplier for less than 150 US$. You just need some training as it's easy just to stick it rather than really welding it with enough depth. But after some tries, it's not that difficult.
And to bend the flats, just put it in the sun for 15 minutes and it's easy to get in shape.
