Addition and remodel

Got to spend most of last summer and fall out west using the van and found things we wanted to change and add. Now that it is mostly just my wife and I or my son and his girlfriend using the van at a time I made these changes.

Removed the buckets seat I had in the van and move the rear bench/1/2 bed forward and moved the other 1/2 of bed deck to the rear like the EB50 design. So now we still have a bench when needed further up in the van for better ride and closer to front. The original design I did had a fold out 1/2 bed deck in front of the bench with a storage box on passenger side and it turn out to be a pain to get to anything when the bed was out. New design will allow for storage under bench and rear deck with bed down or up.

Also by removing the two seat it gave me room for more storage and since we do all out cooking outside I didnít need stove or sink inside so I made another shelf and storage box and then moved cooler over to rear side door for easy access at camp site without going up into van to get things.

The next item was to add roof rack with solar hot water (when sun is out) so I made a rack with 1/4 aluminum plate and 80/20 cross bars. I was able to get about 6 gals of water in the 2Ē pvc. I added a value stem to put it under a little press and it works pretty good. I also add a 13 gal water tank under body just aft of rear axle that is gravity fed just for extra water.

I made a portable ARB air system so I can air Up or down as needed.

Heading back west at end of the month to try and get a few more days on the mountain before the season ends and then leaving the van with the kids in Ft Collins for more summer fun.

Sorry canít figure out how to rotate pictures.

Hopefully that exterior water tank can handle freezing?
