Adjusting Fiamma Awning to Get Full Closure

My awning does not fully close and I've found this PDF which I believe shows how to fix this issue on page 4. However, the translation to English is horrible. Has anyone successfully fixed this issue using this method?

What I attempted was: extending the awning fully and pushing in the "regulation cup" clockwise or towards the van. I rotated it quite a bit but did not notice any change while I was doing it or after trying to close the awning again.

Any suggestions or different methods to try?

Check to make sure the rafter bracket hasn't come loose and slid off center. This was the reason mine wouldn't close all the way.

yvrr - is that trouble-shooting guide something that could be posted to the forum? I'd sure like to have access to it as well.

I'm in this boat too. Would like to see that troubleshooting guide (don't see anything linked to the first post).

The text "this PDF" is linked to it in the first post. Here is a link you can copy/paste: http://sunlandcaravans.com.au/wp-con...e-Shooting.pdf.

Note I've already tried this process and didn't fix it for me. When I rotated the wheel they show to push on it didn't move the awning "roller" so I think I'm going to try it again this weekend.

I also found a YouTube video which explains the process:
