Annoying engine compartment rattle/knocking noise... FIXED!
There has been this elusive rattling/knocking noise coming from my engine compartment. No, I'm not talking about the 7.3. Finally figured it out today. Damn oil fill tube was rattling again a black plastic box mounted on the firewall. A zip tie to keep the tube from contacting the box was all that was needed. Damn, you can't imagine how nice it is to just hear the loud rattle of the motor and nothing else now.
