So Fiamma stopped making black cases (What the hell) and that being the only awning I have laid my hands on, thanks to SMB's showroom, I have a dilemma. Sift through other awnings or buy an ugly titanium F45. Does anybody have experience with Carefree Freedom awnings or Dometic. I am looking for something that operates similar to the Fiamma.

Re: Awnings.....

i'm just curious, so black is a must for your color scheme?
and have you seen the vinyl wrap products such as those at stickercity.com? They have several colors such as matte black that you could easily cover the standard white case (we have an F45 in white on our white van/top). Here is a picture of the 3m di-noc carbon fiber wrap we got from them and installed on our hood. very nice product and it would protect your awning cover nicely.

Re: Awnings.....

I have an extra black F45 awning that I do not need. I will sell for $400 (what I paid for it). Located in SoCal. Please let me know if interested. Haven't gotten around to posting to classifieds, hopefully this is not viewed as a threadjack.
