Changing Aluminess deluxe cargo box door
The drop-down door on my Aluminess deluxe cargo box hits the nose box on the new Chaser trailer. Aluminess will sell a side-opening door for $0250 plus shipping. Or, I could move the original door to the side, though Aluminess warns it could be jimmied from the bottom left corner since the lock remains at the top. In either event, I’d have to pop the rivets on the door hinge. How hard is it to remove rivits? Install new ones if I bought an Aluminess hinge for the existing door or a new door? Thoughts on swapping the door options in general and security in particular?
Thanks,
Don
