Not sure. The DK place linked to above sells them, but shipping might be a fortune. Look for local RV dealers who can order them..

Re: CR Laurence window parts (AKA: repairing failed glue)

UPDATE: This expensive glue doesn't work very well. One side of one window has already failed. I may have to buy new windows, but not really too excited about that since I know they don't last very well.. but I've already got these damn holes in the wall, I got to have something there.

For the time being I have both windows closed with zipties.

I can get a deal on the windows... It's more the countless hours to install.. Literally have to take half the van part to get to them. Oh well, maybe next fall during my next furlough.

^^^ this is all unnerving as im about to place an order for one of their windows. its not one of the all glass setups like you've got. hopefully since its just a slider I wont have to worry about this, but now I wanna go look at pix of them a little closer and see if theres areas I need to be concerned about

either way, best of luck. sounds like a big pita. maybe hit up member jwa (he works in the glass biz) and see if he has a "glass glue" he can recommend.

like already mentioned, any local glass place can resell their products as they wont sell to public. you can even get them on amazon, but shipping is spendy. call crl and ask who the local dealer is for you area, or if you have a glass guy you trust, just have them setup an account.

Re: CR Laurence window parts (AKA: repairing failed glue)

sooo, is this a common problem? I was getting all nerved-up to buy CRL's to replace two of my old-school sliders. Now, I'm scared!

Re: CR Laurence window parts (AKA: repairing failed glue)

Before anyone gets worried I haven't had a problem with any of the many campers I've had with CRL windows, nor have I heard of more than one or two. Hope that helps.

Re: CR Laurence window parts (AKA: repairing failed glue)

^^^ after taking a closer look at the design of the one im interested in, im not worried at all now. all the glass involved on the one im after is in a frame and cant really fall out of, or off of the rest of the window. appreciate you speaking up though

Re: CR Laurence window parts (AKA: repairing failed glue)

I don't have any problem necessarily with CRL... But I think the 'frameless' glass only windows in an offroad vehicle were not a good choice. The only thing holding the glass is glue, and clearly not always up to the task.

Once I decide to tackle replacement, I'm going to see if I can find CRL windows in the same size with frames... And get those.
