Crack in window from cold weather and repair

Tailgated in the incredibly cold and windy Bears/Packers game

...Farve(I know its Favre) said it was the worst weather he's ever played in.

So, I pull up the PH and my left front window has a 8" long crack in it from the cold
- Has anyone else had this happen?
- The force to close back down was very high, all the canvas and windows were stiff...hopefully no other cracks developed
- Is there a repair? I want to avoid tape as the adhesive will leak in hot weather and possibly crack in cold weather. I was thinking a pool repair kit might work
- can SMB repair this or should I hit a local shop
