Custom Front Seat Instillation

I couldn't handle the stock seats anymore, they hurt my back on long drives & thats why we have our van, is for those long drives.....

So I started looking for other seats to replace the stock seats with, I looked at Recaro's, Sparco, Momo's, etc. and decided on going with Corbeau, & boy what a difference.

So I decided to show my install process because I had to make custom brackets so they would work (Because no one seems to make one for the E - series vans), of course, so I made my own for $10, keeping the seatbelt pre tensioners, and using the stock slides, It was really cheap & fairly easy. So hopefully if other people are having the same problem that I had, you'll be inspired & take the initiative and buy a correct fitting seat for yourself, you wont believe the difference it truly makes!

Sorry for the pic of my daughters booster, but you can see the drivers seat pretty good.

You need to put the photo on the Internet, you can used the "My Album" link to upload, and the URL needs to go between the tags instead of above it. Look forward to seeing them!

Fab Skills, thanks but hardly....

this really wasn't hard as it sounds or looks, yes I had to do a little thinking out side of the box, but it was truly strait forward.
If anyone is looking to do this, I would be more them happy to walk you through it, or I'd be willing to take care of it for you, if you feel uncomfortable trying to attempt this.
All you would need to do is take the seats out of your car, then split the bottom cushion form the back, then send me the base seat so can modify it so the tracks on the bottom of your stock front seats work on the new seats.

Re: Custom Front Seat Instillation "Update"

I just swapped out the front seats in the photo's about for a new seat, also from Corbeau, these are like riding on a pillow with really good support. Their reminiscent of Recaro's, most everyone has seen this style seat, which is why I didn't pick them first. But Wow, these are the ticket, I will post photo's asap. If you need more support or comfort for the long haul or for offroad, I would seriously look into these.
Cheers all..
