Detailed a Quigley

My Son In Law and I spent our entire Saturday cutting , polishing , waxing and painting the undercarriage of my daughters 2003 Quigley after our Bradshaw / Hauser Geode Bed trip as she encountered a lot of first Talc and then rain on this trip . I have to say that the quality of her paint job is far superior to our 2007 as I had very little color sanding to contend with .
Today I am performing my scheduled Torque maintenance and undercarriage painting . We had a planned trip to Saline and the Alabama Hills but my wife broke her ankle in three places on the the quest for Geodes so we will be out of commission for eight weeks or more .

Re: Detailed a Quigley

You would think that after breaking it the first two times she'd quit... No seriously that sucks. I'm just getting to the point where I feel normal after my surgery, hopefully her recovery won't be that bad. Going out in the Sporto en-cast is not that bad, definitely better than sitting around home for eight weeks. Our sympathies, and good luck on her recovery.

You definitely have attention to details Greg. Good luck and fast recovery on your bride's ankle.

Re: Detailed a Quigley

Ray,
What prompted this project was the fact that Felice blamed me for her Silver Baby looking like the Mojave Desert after every one of ours family's trips , when I told her that she needn't follow me so closely as to so eat so much of my dust she replied, but Dad I am your only daughter and you wouldn't want me to get lost! I am so greatful that my Son In Law now has her !

Sorry to hear about your wife's injury.

But if its any consolation, south pass into Saline is still snowed under. Jeff (canyonclan) and I got to within eye shot of the sign at peak of south pass on Friday afternoon. For the final mile or two to the top, there was 2-3 feet of snow on the road. We needed chains to get out.

By the time you wife is healed up, the road should be all clear.
