Im still getting by without a door cover or box. The inside of the door “as is” makes for simple storage and easy cleaning, not to mention weight savings. One day the plan is to fabricate something, but for now she rolls as is, and honestly, its working out quite nicely.

Greed is not the way.
This box has always been 1200.00 even when the video was shot, so the price hasn’t changed due to van life. He just had his price inline with several other upfitters. It is all CNC cut and probably one of the best constructed out there... that being said I would also build my own and have... for me I’d rather put 1200.00 some where else in my van. Return on invest for the galley box is poor imho. Oh & Derek is still a regular guy.

Heck, one could buy his own hobby CNC machine and still be under $1200!

Thanks everybody, right now its 108 in phoenix and this beast doesn't fit in my garage so I'm trying to do my planning now so I'm ready to get to work on it in a month or two when things cool down. This gives me a lot of great ideas, storage is at a premium in these things especially with two really small kids in tow (1 and 3 y/o). I'll get to posting on here as I get moving on these items.
