Thanks, I will try that out. I have been using this for TFT, Boost, Voltage, and RPM. But I may mix that up a bit now.

I'm partial to old school things so Auto Meter analog appearing gauges suit me perfectly---here's a few images of my (hopefully) final over head gauge pod install:

The back lights come on with ignition switch in run, a dimmer module installed for night driving. That above is without the dimmer engaged.

As installed should the driver's side sun visor be needed this is the view:

FWIW these are the GS Series which are a bit pricey, the clock far right is a GlowShift as it fit the overall look of the Auto Meter stuff. AM doesn't make a GS Series clock.

I like it, especially with the dimmer added.

Dimming Autometer gauges: If you power the aux gauge lights by tapping into the the factory dimmer circuit (blue wire w/red tracer wire, back of the headlight switch) you get factory dimming functionality in sync with the rest of the dash. I did this on my 1995, works like a champ.

I also like analog. Mine are in the dash. Pyro, fuel pressure, and after this pic I added transmission temp in the bottom right.

I just ordered the three gauge pod for above the mirror. Thanks for all the great ideas and options.

I added the 3 gauge mount to the A-pillar.

That would work only if your gauge's internal lighting is NOT LED/backlit as my Auto Meter GS series have--those definitely require a proprietary electronic module. I've never used an Auto Meter gauge with the traditional incandescent bulb lighting.

Aww man---I wish I knew that's the direction you were heading---I have one that's nearly new and going to waste in an Auto Meter box. For nothing more than shipping it could be yours!
