e350 2007 - headlight - lo profile to bigger one

Hello everybody !

First of all thanks for your time reading this !

I do have a e350 2007 with lo-beam headlights like this one :



and I do want to upgrade to this one :

I am like, ok let's do this ! Ordered the whole optic set (new socket, new bulbs, new headlights received) and I am ready to go, but guess what ! The lo-beam 2007 e350 does have the housing ready but not the headlight bulb retainer like this one :



I want to order it but the guys at the phone told me that it does not fit ! And I am nearly sure it does, but I am wondering if any of you ran through the same issue as mine.
