Felt Baby Bumpers

For those who have the Fords and the day/night shades this is a solution to the lateral movement of the shades when traveling. There is approx. a half inch of free space between the shades and the plastic glass window surround. I found at Wmart some self adhesive felt furniture bumpers, similiar to those used for chair legs but oblong. I just cut these to length and stuck them onto the plastic at each end of the shades. When traveling on bumpy roads this eliminates the rattle of the shades against the plastic.

Re: Felt Baby Bumpers

That's a good idea. Depending where mine are pulled to, the rattle bugs me.
