Are the vents you used curved to fit the profile of the fender, or does the plastic bend enough to fit the profile of the fender, or is the location essentially flat?
thanks,
Herb
[EDIT: Oh, and about what size are those vents?}
The vents are curved a bit but a are flexible enough that they conform to the shape of the fender. The vents are 16"long and 6" high at the tallest point.
Thanks for the info. Now if I get serious, I have to decide between those, and these metal ones. At 2-11/16" x 12-1/4", not nearly as large as yours, but I like that they're metal.
Note, this is a company pic from their website showing their louvers against a Jeep fender, but you get the idea.
Nope not yet sorry. I haven't had a chance to check out the temps yet. It does seem that the engine fan does not stay engaged as long during climbs etc.
Also I used an angle grinder to cut the opening and then a Dremel to clean it up a bit.
