It bent my 20,000# rated Reunel hitch bumper at the brackets. The landing was hard enough the front bumper dug in and showered the windshield with gravel.
Ha ha, leave it to you to be able to confirm with actual life experience. Thanks for clarifying!

Fox 980-24-663 with an ES11 Bottom bushing/sleeve would fit exactly the way it should.
Update to the update!!

Fox apparently measures their shocks differently than everyone else does, so this 663 shock would be too long.

Original post is what you actually want, you just need to add some 1/2" washers to the top to make it fit exactly.

Agile off road shocks are the ticket

You want to talk to the guys at Agile off road. They custom tune the Fox shocks for E-series vans.

Agile Tuned Fox Shocks - Agile Off Road

I got mine in a 2WD lift kit from Weldtec designs but you can get shocks only direct from Agile.

Did you notice a major change in how it drives? I'm seriously considering jumping on the agile FOX ones and dump my yellow monroe.

I also wanted to upgrade the steering stabilizer, but I have to do some more research about that one

Yes and Weldtec sells a steering stabilizer for the 2wd e series.

Easiest way to describe Fox shocks is Firm but soft. Firm when you want them to be like around a corner or on a small bump. Then soft when you hit something big and feel the need to brace for impact.

Just installed these last week

My EB spring were flat in the Back and I only had an inch of compression before bottoming out..so I threw an f350 pack with the main having the eyes cut off..4in of lift..(but if she wasn't built out..an EB and abused before I got her..they would have been just the right length..$450 shipped next day from Catzauto.

They ride amazing..what a sweet upgrade...

(Front lift coils arrived waiting on shock 2 in spacer and camber bushing to lift the front..then maybe take a leaf out of the back to drop it down an inch.. Kinda tall for a 31in tire 5 leaf from 4 and $50 for the set)Click image for larger version
