Fuel Transfer to Portable Generator from SMB main tank(s)

any first hand with a set up to:

Pump gas from SMB tank to a 5 gal jug
to maintain a portable generator

I cant see strapping on gas cans to fuel
my Yamaha

suggestions / solutions??

Try a Super Siphon. Much easier and less to store than a pump in my opinion.

Keep in mind that any method of getting fuel out of your tank, may require a long filler tube depending upon your fuel level.

One option for the factory fuel tanks is an "auxiliary fuel port". This port is designed for fueling generators, heaters, etc. It's available as an option for gas or diesel.

If it was ordered on the factory invoice, it may not be on a TransferFlow (SMB) or the Quigley replacement tanks. You'll have to check and see whats there. You might have the extra fuel port on your sending unit.

Tapping permanently to the fuel tank is an option.
