I used structural adhesive and a pile of self tappers to initially pull the boat sides tight, then replaced them with the fat headed rivets that are still visible now.

That is awesome. I have always wanted to see this done.

Another idea I've always had for overlanders is to have a Yakima style roof box that doubles as a boat because, well, it is one. Just remove from roof, empty out and you've got a boat.....or two.
