My issue is that if I buy the E450 Master Cylinder NMC M3502, the output ports are threaded in a mix of Metric and SAE (Thanks Ford) and I'm not certain how to navigate that.
Do I need upsize my master cylinder to the E450 one or can the E450 Hydroboost be mated to my stock master cylinder?
Rockauto seems to have the parts but limited customer service for parts lookups if its not a stock replacement part.

I’d be willing to bet the stock master will bolt up.

I just completed the hydroboost conversion last month using all Ford parts.
The 2006 E450 hydroboost master cylinder accepted the same hard lines as the stock 2006 E350 vacuum master cylinder...just reverse the line placement.
2006 E450 hydroboost master cylinder...large port is towards the front

2006 E350 vacuum master cylinder - large port is towards the rear.

On top of far better braking vs. vacuum, there is a lot more room in the booster/coolant bottle area.

Once I get an electric vacuum pump, no more need to worry about the belt driven vacuum pump.

Nope. Have used cruise control several times and it works as usual. What would cause cruise control to be affected?

So I have rear discs now that I have the sterling axle in. I’m guessing I can use the newer hydroboost unit now?

I just wanted to make sure the push rod and pedal all line up the way they’re meant to.

Has anyone rebuild the hydroboost pump or master cylinder before install?

I also don't know if the rear brake cylinders are the same diameter, so there's a chance you'd have to swap those too.

Awesome that it all bolted up, was it difficult to integrate the hydroboost hydraulic lines to the power steering pump? Any issues with low speed steering assist/braking?
Thanks,
Tor

It's my understanding that the vans have a redundant monitoring system for the cruise control and the chassis cab only has one.

Just had the Hydro Boost installed 5 weeks ago, and no issues with cruise control.

Only issue I noticed is the idle drops about 20rpm when the brakes are applied...

Needed to buy a 18mm crows foot and a 18mm angled wrench to install the hex fitting on the power steering pump...and torque all of the hex fittings.

The bracket that mounts between the hydroboost and master cylinder that holds the stock tubing is a junkyard only item.

Having built a hydroboost system using stock parts and a hydroboost system using braided PTFE, I would definitely go the PTFE route.

If you're not comfortable with fabricating AN lines, then use stock parts.

PTFE will outlast everything else on the vehicle, is more consistent diameter than the stock parts and is rebuildable.

Throwing this out there again to the hive mind.

Does anyone know if the firewall bolt pattern is the same for my older 95 as the newer units you guys have used?
