edit: just watched the video and it looks like your hose is different.
is this the hose that was installed from pump to booster?
if so, then it routes close to the track bar (if 4x4) towards the drivers side, up next to the gear and the master cylinder and connects to the metal adapter line. the all steel end with the bend connects to the metal adapter line. there's a lot of stuff in the engine compartment, but it is possible. I did it with the everything as-is.

do you have the metal adapter lines?

Removing the adapter lines was easier for me so I could use 90s and run the lines down the side of the boater

UNREG : I think I have the wrong hose. I will see if I can get the right one ordered. I wonder WTH I ended up with. Thanks for doing that research.

Ok Update,
After working through many things. I have very effective brakes.
Infact, too effective.
Current set up is e-450 hydroboost brakes, motocraft parts from rockauto.
And I had to move the post on the brake pedal up to account for different brake pedal geometry.
I did have an issue where the brakes were way to over- reactive, and I fixed this by buying the right return hose assembly that moves the hydro boost return line closer to the pump, reducing back pressure from the power steering assembly.
Now my issue is the first 1" of brake pedal travel does not return. Does anyone out there have any tips on diagnosing this?? I'm pretty sure its on the hydroboost side, as I've been bleeding the brakes w/ a power bleeder, alot.

Good timing for this tread, I am looking at doing this to my 2001 E350 as well. Is there a complete list of OEM parts needed for this conversion?
I have been dealing with an intermittent dash brake light the whole time I have owned this van. On my last vacuum pump swap (2nd oem Ford pump in two years) I noticed the light is now very consistent with actual brake feel with the gradual loss of vacuum. I am now thinking that I have a slow vacuum leak in the booster.
So, now is the time to either simply replace the booster, or go Hydroboost.

@dokaman - I have a parts list in my album…it’s the last picture on the 2nd page, and the first picture on the 3rd page (it’s a picture of what the shop used when they installed my Hydroboost - this way I had part numbers for anything that may need to be replaced at a future date):
https://www.sportsmobileforum.com/fo...wol-page2.html
Edit: I have a 2006 Diesel so not sure if it’s compatible with an earlier model
***ALSO - Not sure if it’s listed with those parts, but you will want to upgrade to a larger cooler at the same time.

I finally found my notes on the parts I sourced for a hydroboost swap...
I used a 2009/2010 hydroboost unit from a 6.0L van. My 2013 5.4L van needed a hole drilled for the booster unit to fit on the firewall.

No...this was for the Cummins van and the stock 6.7L power steering pump.
