King Ranch seats

Anybody know if the King Ranch pick up truck seats will fit in the front of the vans?

Probably only if you take them off of their bases and mount them on your bases, if that's possible. It will probably involve a little fabrication. I've never seen any pickup seats that would mount easily in a van.

Can you post a pic of the bottom of them?

Bumping this back up. Not afraid of a little fabrication, and have access to the seats for cheap. Anyone seen F-series seats in an E-series?

This is moment when you just gotta commit and go do it. Blaze a new trail. Become the King Ranch seat guy.

Speaking from experience with putting seats in the Eseries that weren't designed to go there... Take a look at the Body Builder's layout book for the Eseries and Fseries...

https://fordbbas.com/publications

There's a page in those docs that shows seating position dimensions. The Eseries seat base is offset (mounts relative to the steering wheel center). Not only does it feel super awkward if the seating position is off, it's also important to be in the right spot relative to the airbag.

Thanks - I'll comb through that here shortly.

I figured if it made sense and was straightforward - it'd have been done a bunch by now. But they're super comfy and I can snag them for $100 for the pair so I figured why not look into it.

If swiveling the seats is important to your use/build make sure to take that into account. The stock seats are able to swivel but do require some jockeying to rotate 180. If the KR seats are wider than the stock seats by more than inch or two then you will begin to require offsetting the seats from the stock center line to clear the B Pillar and door panel arm rest if swiveling them. The stock passenger seat when rotated is right against the door panel, for reference.

Good point. Don't really care on the driver seat, but definitely want the passenger to swivel.

Tim at timberline vans in Golden has done this... I’d reach out to him.
