Re: Laminate existing MDF cabinets

Been very busy, paint is holding up great. Sportsmobile however is showing its age and I'm faced with a ton of repairs...labor of love

I'll try to get a picture posted tomorrow

Re: Laminate existing MDF cabinets

Anyone try applying a new, super durable finish to replace the laminates? Maybe a roll-on bedliner type product? Something that can withstand the bumps, scrapes and moistures that come with the territory?

Re: Laminate existing MDF cabinets

Painted enamel over surface, sanded and primed prior

Deep scratches are difficult as the paper pulls through to the surface

Enamel did a great job on small scratches, deep ones a few extra coats will mute it

Also pained the dash to match, old wood grain was ugly. Doghouse painted silver and matches pulls

Silver, blue, almond and black...river rock colors were used in my 2004 Mountaineer, and the Bearsmobile
