We ended up going a different route for our over-cab lights...
We decided to use Yakima bar and gutter mounts so that we could remove it when we did not need it.
The lights were mounted to the bar with two Yakima snap-arounds each and a stainless plate between the two. The remote control spotlight is mounted using its aluminum bar clamp and plate with a stainless plate to mangentically mount to.
The lights chosen were two KC 861s (longe range HID) and two PIAA 550 Dual Beams (long range & fog) and the remote control spotlight in the middle.
They all have quick disconnects so the the wires can be hidden away when the bar is not in use..
This setup also gives us the ability to magnetically mount just the remote spot without the rest and the bar.
