One to many Rocky washboard road for this guy.
Made a real loud metal braking sound and then a thud to alert me something was wrong. Stopped looked under van to see compressor hanging from power cables and air line. Lucky it made loud noise to alert me and I stopped right away and didn't drag it and cause more damage.

Thank you dig255 - Am I glad you posted this! Out of curiosity (& peace of mind) I decided to strolled out to inspect mine - probably one of just a few things I would never have thought to check...sure enough I have breaks at two of the 4 mounting bolts. One of the benefits of reviewing this Forum!
Glad to have helped. Now two incidents hope more people check.
As you said who would normally check that if ever, but now I guess I will have to check all the brackets and welds
Wow, glad you caught it before anything worse happened. I pulled and serviced mine recently and everything seemed okay, but makes me want to go take another look to be sure!
