Manual pop top lift assist - this works!!!

Hi Friends, Thank you for all the advice on how I could lift the pop top on my own. I tried several suggestions, but the one that works best for me until I can get the links adjusted is the use of a homemade PVC T-shaped apparatus along with an electric jack, and opening all the doors is a must. My friend made this video where I demonstrate. Maybe it will be helpful for others with the same issue. This was my first outting since purchasing this new to me 1997 E250. I LOVE IT!!!!

Looks like it works fine.

I probably should cover the edges of my bed as well as I've bumped my head a few times.

For those covers I use pipe insulation foam. Took me more than a few times!
