Mosquito Screen Material

I'm having a friend who sews help me with some window screens. I bought a mess of magnets to attach them from the outside- seems simplest/cleanest, but I have question about screen material.

Has anyone used fiberglass window screening? I could buy mosquito netting, but I have a roll of fiberglass window screen. A quick perusal of the interwebz finds some folks who say that they use it for sewing projects, even making handbags and the like.

Has anyone here used it? My main question would be flexiblity/durability.

I have some screens that are the conventional fiberglass mesh that you would find in a screen door or on your windows at home. Great for MOST occasions. If you get to the areas where No-See-Ums are buzzing around they will fly right through that, and did for us last summer. I do think that air circulates better through the bigger mesh but there are a few bugs that might get through it as well.

That's what I made mine out of. Used sticky back Velcro on the screen material and on the inside of the door frame. Worked ok and was a good solution for not having access to a sewing machine.
