I don't have personal experience, but have heard that ozone odor treatments work well for many smells.
Our former Toyota Tundra need two ten-hour long ozone treatments to get most of the smoker smell out of it before we bought it used. The first owner had smoked like a chimney in the cab and it reeked. But the Toyota dealer gave us $3K off the bluebook to get it off the lot.

After the ozone treatments, there was a faint cigarette smell, usually on hot days when you left the windows closed too long while the truck was parked. There certainly wasn't any "new truck" smell in that vehicle, even though it was only one year old when we bought it!
