Paint or powder coat? Satin, semi-loss or Gloss black?

To save money for a full length Amluminess roof rack I'm forgoing buying new wheels.

Want to gather your opinion on either painting or powder coating my existing American Eagle Baja rims.

Also, can't decide on satin, semi-gloss or gloss black.

Thanks for looking.

Satin, with polished aluminum highlights.

Just paint the centers...Leave the lips aluminum and the highlights polished like Mike said...

What are highlights and what portion of the wheel are you referring too?

Re: Paint or powder coat? Satin, semi-loss or Gloss black?

I cant speak for Mike but for me I would do just the centers of the wheels leaving the area where the lips/ the two stepped parts (the part just before the tire) on your wheels aluminum. I would not paint the center caps or use black lug nuts either. But that said I really like those wheels the way they are now, I don't really like all black rims or the busy designs of newer rims that are lots of people are buying. I still like to see where the tire ends and the wheel starts, I must be getting old...

I'd leave them the way they are too.

I think I understand. Basically just the center portion where all the holes are.
