Penthouse air-conditioning

Can you have a roof air conditioner on a penthouse? If not, what are my air-conditioning options for our NCV3 RB Sprinter? I asked the question of Sportsmobile a few days ago. While I await response, I thought someone in this forum might be able to help me. We are considering the penthouse, but not as a trade-off for air-conditioning.

Re: Penthouse air-conditioning

My understanding is no, but my guess is someone somewhere has done it. SMB will also not mount a large fantastic fan in the PH, but LenS did.

In addition to the hole, I'd say the power PH is a must, as the weight will be a constant issue. Personally I wouldn't add 70-100lbs without doing something creative to the roof to support it outside the center.
