Penthouse roof crackling noise

I was on top of ours last weekend...... or so.... it was FILTHY.

I took about 30 minutes to clean off all the Pecan tree pollen. The solar panels had to be working a little less than efficiently. There were a few twigs and sticks, and a lot of dried yuck.

After cleaning the top I had to hose down the sides to get all the liquified pollen stain from the top off the sides.

...but there was only one small crackling noise....
