Man, that's robbery. Hate to call them out but it's a 3 hour job. It's documented pretty well in my Rusty thread but I couldn't begin to tell you where. I have had a few tops off. If you know a decent mechanic or handyman (with one helper) they can easily do the job.
This begs the question, why remove and reinstall? Are you replacing something while top is off, or redoing part of the top? Knowing your specific goal here could help us find you a complete answer.
