PopTop removal & Reinstallation cost?

Hi. I am in need of having my pop top removed and then reinstalled on my 06 E350 RB50 van. Has anyone had this done and if so what was the estimated labor cost to do so? I am located in Phoenix, Arizona.

I appreciate your reply. Unfortunately, my search of the forum prior to posting this question, resulted in no sufficient answer. I am also a trained Google searcher, and even on my quest through Google the same result manifested. I do appreciate your help through. If you would like to search for me and give me the answer that would be amazing. Best!

I think you're going to be hard-pressed to find any firm answers, as everyone that I can remember who's posted on the forum about this, has done the project themselves.

Do you want it removed from one van and installed on another? Or just removed from and reinstalled on the same van? Regardless, as BroncoHauler said, I've never heard of anyone who paid a third party to do it with a used top.

Penthouse repair might be a more helpful search term. But yeah, searching here can be a pain.
My apologies for the non reply.

Are you wanting to get the whole top removed including the lift mechanism, or just the fiberglass shell and canvas? That would drastically change the scope and amount of work if you wanted the whole thing taken off.

Thank you to all that replied. I wanted just the fiberglass shell and canvas. I spoke with a person at Sportsmobile and a rough estimate of around 3k just to take off and put back on.

Man, that's robbery. Hate to call them out but it's a 3 hour job. It's documented pretty well in my Rusty thread but I couldn't begin to tell you where. I have had a few tops off. If you know a decent mechanic or handyman (with one helper) they can easily do the job.

This begs the question, why remove and reinstall? Are you replacing something while top is off, or redoing part of the top? Knowing your specific goal here could help us find you a complete answer.

Lots more pics and info about top removal etc. here, start at post 287:
