Power Steering Assembly

Long story short, power steering bushings or assembly need replacement.
Specs: 1996 E-350 LX Clubwagon (12 passenger)
Issue: Ford dealer says neither bushings or assembly are available via Ford. Mechanic will look onto another Ford warehouse the dealer doesn’t search well??
Question: is the assembly IDENTICAL to any other Ford truck? What other options are there?
Desire: don’t ever plan on parting with this van.

What are you refering to? The power steering pump or the steering gear box?

Thanks for replying. My error. Neither. I mean the “steering assembly”: if I understand right it’s what the steering wheel is attached to and goes down toward my feet and the engine bay.

Ok, that would be the steering column. You can find a million of them in the salvage yards.
