Pressure regulator for shurflo 3.5 gpm

Anybody familiar with the shurflo 3.5 gallon per minute pump water pump. Recently installed this with my 20 gallon freshwater and it seems to be too powerful. My European faucet on my domtic sink couldn’t handle it and might’ve blown a gasket. Wondering if I should just add a pressure regulator or a ball valve shut off and just open it partially to slow down the flow. Any ideas welcome

A ball or gate valve will sort of throttle the pressure. They need to be mostly closed to do any good. A better solution would be a globe valve. It will give you more control.

Assuming you have a threaded faucet end, what about using a different GPM Aerator/Flow Restrictor? That's how I calmed my van's water faucet down.
