Re: RB-50 Bench Seat Headrest Installation
Unfortunately, I didn't retain any of the paperwork that had part numbers. That said, I found the guide sleeves at Tasca Parts (tascaparts.com). Their website allows you to break down a rear bench seat into its individual components. You just enter the make, model, and year before running a search. Separately, I remember there being plenty of Ford F series headrests available on Ebay (actually found this a bit odd but then discovered lots of comments regarding how the rear bench headrests made it difficult to see). Recommend finding a set with the OEM fabric covers so that they can serve as a guide for the new covers. I went with Ford to maintain the look and to take advantage of the height of a Ford headrest (the RB-50 bench seat is at least 6 inches shorter than bench seats found in other vehicles). Also separately, had to ensure the guide sleeves were set at an angle (5 5/8" off vertical) to account for the angle of the bench seat.
