Removing interior panels

I have an 06' Quigley I use to haul my Search Dog around in. I want to make some interior mods for cabinets and additional plug ins. Where's a good source to tell me how to get some of the interior plastic panels off so I don't bust up the clips etc.?

Surprised no one responded, but I can't tell you how to get them off myself. I usually learn by breaking it first, then I know how to remove them, not the best method for sure. If SMB did the conversion, I would E-Mail SMB. Give them a call. They will give you Peter's E-mail AD if you ask.
Good luck.

I don't think I have plastic panels in my build. Maybe a photo would help?

Thanks for the replies. There is no build, just a staight from Quiqley. I removed the rear bench and added a drawer I built that extends from the rear doors to just behind the rear bench floor brackets. On top of that I had a crate built with a slider for my dog that sits on that footprint. I'd like to add some 12 vlt recepts in various spots as well as some misc. storage compartments.

If you have a passenger van with the stock Ford windows and moldings and panels you start by removing the window moldings. Pick one and start in a corner. Use a nylon pry bar to lift the panel away from the body. They basically are held by clips that grab protrusions molded into the panel. Pull straight away from the window. Look behind the trim and you will see how the clips work and can work from there. You will see how to remove the seatbelts. The side panels are held by screws in various places hidden by the window frames and the panels fit in a sequence. Once the screws are out you then lift the panel up..not out. it is held in place by flanges that slide into slots in the body. They are pretty tough but you will probably break a few of the flanges. It's inevitable but not terminal. When you put the window trim back. Don't be afraid to give it a good whack with the palm of your hand to firmly press the plastic protrusions back into the clips. This is the hardest part to get all of the clips lined up to accept the panel. Practice makes perfect.
Or go to a body shop and ask them to show you.....pay for an hours labor and they will.
