Van Interior Modifications

We really like our van setup. One bothersome thing though is that when we have the table set up it blocks the bathroom entrance. Came across a picture of a 2004 Mb Cruiser and daaaa why didn't I think of that. They have a side table setup that does not block the rear of the van. So I have started modifying our van. About 50% done and it is looking good. Still have to bolt the boxes down, varnish them, etc. and design a table support.
Here are some pics of the progress to date.

Looks like w the new format I can only post 5 pics at a time so the last two will be in the next message attachment.

Joanne is trying out the new table optional location. I still need to design a "L" shape table support so foot area stays clear for feet.

Project is done and I think we are really going use the dinette option. Have also made bench inserts so that the dinette can be transformed back into a bench when needed.

Len,
That looks like a great change to your layout, very practical. As always your work and attention to details is fantastic.

Fine tuned new dinette table installation. Will use our old backpacking Thermarests (smaller size) for dinette seats. That will also allow us to make a couch out of the larger Camprest ones.
