Water tank in the spare tire location

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and this is my first post. I have a 2014 E350 with Agile 4x4 conversion and sportsmobile poptop. I've been working on it for about a year and have had a great time exploring northern baja and california

I'm planning on mounting the spare tire on a swing arm which would free up the space underneath the van. I would like to use this space for a freshwater tank.

I've searched extensively and cannot find any information or tips on how to do this. Has anybody done this? If so what tank did you use, how did you mount it and did you connect the tank to a pump or to a air compressor? Any info, links or tips would be greatly appreciated.

thank you for reading

Yev

It’s been done by numerous people. The spare tire carrier has to be cut out of the frame. Then you can fab a water tank carrier. Check out post 58 in my build thread and you can see how I mounted a 30gal water tank. A Shurflo pump get the water to my faucet and shower.

Just be aware if your exterior temperatures get into the freezing range you could run into problems.
