Webasto Heater Air Top 2000 Gasoline Mode.

Looking for pros and cons of the Webasto Air Top 2000 heater - gasoline version.

Our present electric heater is a two level 800watt and 1500watt heater. The 2000 would be variable between 900w - 2000w. Present 1500w is marginal on really cold/windy days so 2000w would give us some margin.

Thoughts. Experience with them?

I have a AT2000 Gas in my 01 and works great. you do have to restart every once and a while. It attemps to start and then defualts. if you cycle it it starts fine the second time. This happens one out of about every 20 times. I have maybe 200hrs on mine and got it new.

If you let it sit, will it try to restart on its own?

No it just flashes a flame out code untill I turn off and restart. Always restarts the second time.
