Made some mudflap mounts with "quick-release" flaps:

The mounts are made from steel and bolted to the pinch seam. The flaps are attached with wing nuts for easy removal.

Also watch out for installs too close to the wheel well. If you have a blow out the thrashing tire will rip any wiring or plumbing from its attachments. BTDT

Bought two equipment racks. One is 20wx24hx17d and the other is 20x31x17. They lock and have air vents on the sides and top as well as some holes in the back. They are made from a heavy gage steel. Will have to plug the holes but they should make good storage boxes.

The next step is to get them painted and mounted but will have to wait till it warms up for the painting part.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Finished a major service today: air filter, fuel filters, front diff and transfer case oil change. Also installed a blue spring for the fuel pressure regulator and one of these neat billet caps for the front fuel filter: http://www.mkmcustoms.com/60fuelfiltercap.aspx

Had a check engine light after all the work. So I flipped out and stomped around for a while before I noticed I'd forgotten to plug in the intake air temp sensor.

Raises the fuel pressure to the injectors by 10-15psi. Supposed to help protect the injectors.

I'll report back on their customer service...

I had the same problem on my light, the manufacturer acknowledged that they had used an inferior plastic on those corners, and Sportsmobile Fresno replaced the plastic with what appears to be a much better gauge of plastic. (No charge.)

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

The windshield on my SMB cracked in the cold Wyoming weather. My poor Las Vegas baby was not used to this chilly weather.
