Dave, did you get the Reclining Nudes?

Nope, thought I'd go with Looney Tunes

Can you believe they actually make those.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Got the van out of storage. After 4 months the house batteries were down to 12.3 volts. The THIRTEEN year old original Delco starting battery just started the van. It was nip and tuck. Installed a new starting battery today. Have NEVER had a starting battery last this long.....7-8 years max. Replaced three 10w halogen lights with LED's. Getting itchy to start going down the road.

Put full insurance coverage back on and started packing for our Texas road trip...leaving in 10 days. Guess you might say we're a bit anxious.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Camping in AR and the exterior driver side door handle "popped" when i opened it and stopped working. Dug into the door panel and zip tied the handle rod to the looped part of the latch mechanism temporarily. i will replace permanently with a metal tie and it will be stronger than the oem plastic connector.

No pics, I could barely get my hands in there...

What did you do to your SMB today?

Do you have a vent for the GW tank? If not it may fill slowly.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

There is a little vent on the tank but only a 1/4 of an inch hole with a plug. The days of dumping dish water in bushes here in Cali are numbered and many places already have rules against it.No prob in my Bounder but problematic in my Little B until now.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

I would be concerned about the bungee in an accident. No way will it hold a partially full container in place in an accident. That could be a major problem in an already bad situation. A secure metal strap would be safer.

We never expect to have an accident, but there are some bad and/or impaired drivers that make that choice for us sometimes.

Happy trails,

Mike

Don't worry in a bad accident the camp stove on the left will have decapitated me so: No Brain. No Pain. I kid. I will look into securing everything. Porta potti behind drivers seat only has bungee also.If that gets air born we could wish we were dead.

Moreover with less than half-tank, simply stopping may cause the bottom to kick out pulling down the whole drain.

But you should really start a thread, it's a good mod, curtain and all, and deserves some limelight.
