Thanks J, they are decent and a step up from factory, but not as totally badass as I'd hoped. Nice thing is I have rotating passenger and driver, that is pretty cool. Only gripe is they are a few inches shorter than the factory seats. I may have to fab up some risers which is pretty simple really. Maybe pull em and weld them on. We shall see.

Looks dangerous, Dave.
Maybe a new handle "Dangerous Dave" ?

I replaced one of the bench seat lap belts in my EB50 with a longer one. The stock lap belts installed by SMB wouldn't work with our car seat as it put the buckle smack in the middle of the seat base preventing the car seat from latching to the base. The shoulder belt worked fine with car seat base and baby #1, but with baby #2 now, we had to make a change for both seats work safely back there. I ordered a 74 inch lap belt from seatbeltplanet.com which was just the right length to put the buckle in the correct spot off to the side. Had I put more forethought when ordering in 2013, I would have asked if SMB could have installed the Latch system. In the end, this worked out well and wasn't expensive either. We are officially a two baby Sportsmobile!

Ouch, is there more drama to this story? I just LOVE fuel pump stories.

Hopefully it's a happy story, like " I broke down in front of a repair shop having a slow day and an empty rack" rather than "I was 30 miles down a loose single track"
