Repaired fiberglass battery boxes

I just reinstalled my repaired fiberglass battery box. The box was broken when I bought the van, yet it seems someone lost a battery on the highway. If new one's were for sale I would have bought them, yet without that, there's a grinder, fiberglass, and resin to sort it out.

Maybe add a couple metal straps to hold the box ?

I was thinking about adding some kind of straps. Of course, where to attach them becomes an issue. I'm not sure if the box failed because it was hit, or just gave out. Before I drop in a battery, I'll look it over again.

Thanks

Almost finished my Sterling 10.5 (Full float, 4.30 gears and electronic locker) install along with Agile rear springs. Need to finish shock mounts, brakes, etc., but 4x4 conversion is almost complete...
