Got together with a friend who has a metal shop and made some mounts for the Pull Pal.

The lever arm mounts to the VanCompass Hi Lift mount on the ladder. I've decided the Pull Pal is probably more useful than the Hi Lift.

The blade mounts on the back of the Aluminess spare tire swingarm.

My penthouse does not have the optional bed, but being a low roof it has no upper storage. I'm setting it up to be on the road for extended periods now that it's just me (Linda died about 3 months ago). I got an inspiration for a way to be able to take more stuff along.

This is a piece of the original crew van floor with a couple of pieces of aluminum angle from the local hardware store to keep it from bowing. It rests on the lip where the bed would rest, and is held in place with some hooks from a Velcro set. The baskets are from Target.

Removed what the former owner called "wiring" in preparation for a new stereo and backup camera installation.

That's a lot of "wiring"!

What stereo and back up camera did you choose? I need to do this too. There's only so many old cassette tapes I own, and I was lucky to find those. Debating if I wanted the rear view mirror backup camera screen or one on the stereo. Thanks Rob = [QUOTE=gcvt;307824]Removed what the former owner called "wiring" in preparation for a new stereo and backup camera installation.

I know you were asking the OP, but just thought I'd chime in. I have the OEM rear view mirror implementation (2011), and it's surprisingly good despite the small display. It's enabled me to park within inches of things, although I must admit that it's sometimes closer than I realized--I can tell I'm not touching, but I can't tell how small the distance is. That's probably more a limitation on my part though. If I had a stereo with a large display, I'd definitely hook up the camera to it instead.

I wonder if the guys at Crutchfield have a good sense of humor. I'm thinking about sending them that first picture, thanking them for their help, and telling them how great everything works

I just went with a cheapo Boss Audio 7" touch screen deal with backup camera - just wanted the Apple CarPlay - and some Polk speakers. Nothing fancy.

Spent an inordinate amount of time underneath the van trying to remove a very uncooperative auxiliary condenser. The good news is, I think I may have found my refrigerant leak.

While chasing an intermittent turn signal and brake lamp issue on a friend's older class C rig, I opended up the tail light panel to find factory installed, evenly spaced, daisy-chained, blue 3M Scotchlocks, connecting all 8 sockets.

I feel your pain, the struggle is real

Installed the new stereo, with fake faceplate made from the factory radio.
